Hey all! Long time no-post!

Um, well, to keep this short, uni is kicking my ass, work is kicking my ass, and now I'm sick. Needless to say there has been very little progress on the chapter. Oh, well, other that to decide (rightly) that half of the chapter is totally off and I need to do some serious re-writing. All and all not a lot of forward-progress is being made. Right now I am too sick and tired to concentrate properly on anything much (and yes, that _does_ include fanfiction, (of the reading sort), and anime) but I have been sideways inspired to do some sideways work on my sideways project.

Thus, have a Mine update for you. Working on another, too, but I thought I'd post this one before the sickkie-attacks overwhelm me.

A/N: Part of the reason I'm actually blathering on here is that I wanted to tell the readers that there is going to be a teeny tiny change to this series. From now on there will be one of three titles attached at to each drabble as we go along, simply to give some semblance of coherency. Mixed-time drabble series' are confusing enough when written well and I don't think I would apply that descriptor to this collection of brain explosions. Anyway, all drabbles will have one of these titles: 'Fear', 'Pain', & 'Pandora'* applied. (This includes all previous entries!) These titles are to help the reader put things into context in terms of a veeeery general timeline. I'm sure you'll pick it up fairly easily. I don't know if these will actually help, or if they're completely unnecessary or whatever, but we'll just have to see.

*I just feel I should say that I am a pleb when it comes to mythology but I wanted to use this word anyway because of what the word makes me think of. Hopefully I'm not so off the beaten track that it makes no sense to everyone else!

Okay so, I had his pop into my head, sortof, trying to squeeze its way into one of my current WIPs. I thought about it for about 40 minutes, (two albums, one orange, a load of washing and a desk tidy), and just couldn't figure out how I could incorporate it without compromising the legitimacy of the current stories. However, the story didn't want to go away so I decided to keep it - as a series of unconnected drabbles (i.e. back and forward in time) and (possibly) chapters that would eventually create a full story. The reason I don't want it to be done with normal chapters and story-flow is that I really don't have time to put into another full story, and I think I will enjoy the occasional edge of this story on my consciousness without it demanding total domination of my thoughts. Hopefully it will work!

Anyway, here's the first drabble in the series, I hope you like.
