Harry Potter Fanfiction: Mine - Drabble001
Okay so, I had his pop into my head, sortof, trying to squeeze its way into one of my current WIPs. I thought about it for about 40 minutes, (two albums, one orange, a load of washing and a desk tidy), and just couldn't figure out how I could incorporate it without compromising the legitimacy of the current stories. However, the story didn't want to go away so I decided to keep it - as a series of unconnected drabbles (i.e. back and forward in time) and (possibly) chapters that would eventually create a full story. The reason I don't want it to be done with normal chapters and story-flow is that I really don't have time to put into another full story, and I think I will enjoy the occasional edge of this story on my consciousness without it demanding total domination of my thoughts. Hopefully it will work!

Anyway, here's the first drabble in the series, I hope you like.

Pairings: (eventually) Harry/Draco, Draco/Voldemort,(maybe some others I haven't thought about yet)

"He can’t take anything I choose to keep."

"But-"

Malfoy whirled on him, furious, "No! No buts! He has taken nothing from me, nothing! It’s not invasive or humiliating or disgusting unless I choose to feel invaded, humiliated or disgusted!"

He turned away, looking out the window, the sun glinting off his hair as he ran trembling hands through it. "It’s just... flesh. Flesh on flesh; like animals. It says nothing of my soul. It doesn’t touch my soul." He turned to glare at Harry again, "My soul is mine."

"No, your soul is mine~"

XD Confused for a second there, and are you serious about the MPREG?

lol, that's such a tempting thing to have there.

Be confused! It's only the very first piece of the puzzle so you don't need to totally know what's going on straight away!

YES YES YES. Totally serious. I have a secret love of Mpreg so long as it isn't done in a totally spastic way. The HP series does lend itself to it a bit because of all the interesting medical things that can be done with magic. That was kinda what I was talking about with the compromising the integrity of the other fics, because I want to do an Mpreg, but it would make the other stories too random.

YES! I love you! *giddy that she'd found another person that likes Mpreg* XD And here I thought I was alone.

(I have an rp going on with a friend in which we have planned that one of the main male characters in a threesome gives birth to triplets XD)

No no! You totally aren't alone, most people either love it or hate it, (and admittedly, there are a LOT of people in the hate-it category), but there's definitely a mpreg following out there. *tries to find some links for you*

These are all in HP fandom, so you might have trouble following what's going on, but they're still good. (I rate them between 3 and 4 stars.)
Loosing Sleep (Harry Potter/Lucius Malfoy) [The baddies impregnate Harry! Oh Noes! very neat idea, gets a bit strange at points but still good.]
Genesis (Harry Potter/Draco Malfoy) [This is a re-write of the latest book (Half-Blood Prince) with a few twists.]

Saving Draco Malfoy
(HP/DM) [This one starts out really good but gets a bit twee towards the end.]

Anyway, those are just if you happen to get a craving. ;D

Because of gender stereotyping, I think mpreg is really hard to pull off properly, either without making sexist comments or effeminising the pregnant party or both. Although I crave it like chocolate, I'm very wary of it and I hope I can pull it off properly myself.
