I have had such a nice weekend. I've been getting through a lot of homework, I spent like, 4 hours yesterday playing WoW with my brothers (I hit level 60! Huzzah!) It's lovely weather today and it rained yesterday, my parents have made contact from the U.K. My tattoo isn't hurting much today, I just baked a tray of cookies and I also just finished typing up the draft of DMT_07! Yaaaaay!

Still lots more to do before the sun goes down and work resumes next week. :/ But getting things done is SUCH a nice feeling. Especially when you have the time to watch cute animes about vampires in between being efficient.

GAH! I am so thoroughly dead. While it wasn't the most painful experience ever, the idea of getting more tattoos has definitely waned for now. It's not that's it's excruciating, it's that it HURTS and it KEEPS GOING for (in my case) THREE HOURS! OW! FREAKING OW!

Anyway, for the curious, a one-time special of a Peeji pic on the interwebs. This will go boom whenever I get up tomorrow. BOOM!

Alright, now I am going to BED to watch Dollhouse and some anime and anything else lame and comforting I can find.

Hokay! So! Week-of-short-stories kind of ended with just two, but that's markedly better than none so I consider that a win. I plan on doing more, just not RIGHT this second. Several of the shorts tried to grow so I had to put them aside.

Right now I am working on DMT_07. This week I am back to class, so that puts pressure on there, too. My first class on Kinship was AWESOME and I'm already nose-down into study for it, because it's one of these ones that I HAVE to get a good mark for. WOO.

I get my tattoo tomorrow. I am very excited. Part of me wants to stay up all night or something. It's like christmas! I will temporarily post a pic and then take it down so people can't steal my AWESOME design. (XD) I'm feeling chuffed because I embarked on a mission to shape up my arms before I got it done, expecting to make very little difference, but in only one month my arms are VISIBLY different. I feel cool and strong-lady!

Alright, I gotta go. I may post a short tomorrow depending on tiredness levels and whether some of these stories will let me force them to ONLY BE SHORT!

As you may be able to see (depending on how you are viewing this entry) I have a new layout! I am very excited about it. It only recently came to my attention that you don't have to be an awesome graphic designer to have pretty layouts, you just have to be able to follow instructions and find someone who IS an awesome graphic designer. Thus! Pretty!

This layout is by fading_melody who is actally a queen of icons but since I'm still stuck with my boring 6 I can't justify using any of those right now.

I am going to edit this entry later once I get back from check out the new design for my tattoo. WHEE!

I JUST BOOKED A TIME FOR MY TATTOO TODAY!

YOU MAY BE ABLE TO TELL THAT I'M EXCITED!

It's not for like, over a month because it's at the best studio in town and because it's my first I asked for the lead artist and they're BUSY, but I AM SO EXCITED! I even have enough money saved now baring them completely redesigning it to be like, twice the size it currently is. (and unless my arms get REALLY beefy for no reason, I don't really see that happening.) Don't ask me how much because I really don't want to think about it because I don't know that it's possible to justify spending that much on body-art but WTH! @_@

Also, I submitted an assignment for my stage-writing paper today which had a character that decided half-way though that he was Rodney McKay. I almost made him a physicist but it wouldn't have fit. Also he was dying and I didn't want to kill Rodney. Still, it was SO much fun to write. Now I wish I had time to write one of my various SGA prompts. SO DON'T! But I can dream.
