OMG! I just read the most freaking amazing fic!!

You know how sometimes, you sortof, go outside your familiar internet base, and it's all scary and you've got no idea what's going on? (Or maybe you don't, but that's how it is for me). Well, I did one of those clicky-sprees. Where you start with a familiar thing, then click on something on that site that leads your somewhere unfamiliar, then you see something interesting on that site that makes you click somewhere else, then so on and so forth until you find yourself vastly off the beaten-track reading superman fanfic. Well, actually it was more of a mix of Smallville, the original Titans and the Justice League, in terms of the universes, but still, it was SUPERMAN FANFIC.

Most of the time when one wanders so far from home, you get eaten by a wolf. Or you end up reading something really crap that makes you annoyed at the world in general; same diff. BUT THIS TIME...

I read a super-amazing hot, sweet, complex, hopeful, well-written, FUNNY fic that totally rocked my sox.

This fic was mostly from the P.O.V of Kon, -who apparently is the cloned child of both Superman and Lex Luthor (that's the CANON, people!!) who I'd never heard of because my brother refused to let me read the comics when we were kids so I've only ever seen the cartoons and as such have missed masses of storyline- after he gets badly injured and well, I'm not going to tell anything more about the plot save to say that it's Lex/Clark and just wonderful. If you feel like reading and know as little about the character of Kon as I did, don't worry, the author is writing an AU anyway and it's not too important, save that he doesn't have the same powers as Superman, but instead uses a form of Telekinesis (referred to throughout the fic as 'TK') that simulates most of Superman's powers. Other than that you can just figure it out.

Anyway, it was beautiful and wonderful and had Lex and Batman warring against each other in World of Warcraft which was literally one of the funniest things I've ever heard of.

So, what are you waiting for my bored followers!!?? Go read!

(And I don't even care that this post shows me as being a gynormous geek because hey, I have more fun.)
