Well, here we are then. 2007 has passed and 2008 is beginning. Another year of my life has passed into the dust of time. I must say, I feel kinda sorry for people who don't have my birthday, because it makes thinking of years and age so much easier. My parents never had to think, 'shall we start her in school the year she turns 5, or when she turns 5?' or anything. No, I age with the passing of years and that is handy. Save for the people who never come to my parties coz their either drunk or hung over, still, there's always a big party on my birthday and usually fireworks, even if they're not supplied by whatever my people are doing, so I kinda like it.

Shall I reflect on 2007? I really can't be bothered. What did I do? I started University, passed, for the most part. Even got the odd decent mark in there, too. Yey. I... moved three times. I got and quit two different jobs. Had a nervous break down. Um? Updated my stories extremely sporadically... Made heaps of new friends! Woot! Learnt SO MUCH Japanese that my brain started spitting the words out the back so there was enough room to think... Got a C- on my Japanese final... -___-; Watched heaps of anime. Read HEAPS of fanfic. Found out that Anthropology is my complete dream subject. Ignored all my lovely friends because I mostly want to hide these days.

Um... yeah, I think that's most of it...

Other reflections:

Okay, I was re-watching the new Transformers movie the other day, (and felt weird trying to explain things to my parents from the original which I really can't remember coz I was like, 6 when it was on T.V. and I never watched the newer versions because they offended my Transformer-sensibilities) and apart from realising how deeply ingrained my geekery is, I was hit, once more, with how much I reeeeeally, reeeeally want to see some Human!Bumblebee/Sam Whitwicky. Because a) I mean, COME ON! They're SOOO crushing on each other! Seriously! Sam's all, "I won't leave you!" Bumblebee is, "I wish to stay with the boy. *puppy eyes*" and, "*to Barricade* Get away from my boi, bitch! I'll give you the smackdown! *cue awesome giant-robot-catfight*" Then Sam makes out with his girl on top of Bumblebee. You know Bumblebee is getting into that shit. Also, 'the mythical bond between car and boy'. I mean, COME ON!

Not that I think this is a bad thing! I think it's great! I'm sure there are plenty of people out there who would like to fuck, or be fucked by a very sexy car. *cough*DeanWinchester*cough*

And b) (lest we forget that I am lettering my points here people...) I also think it would be really cool to have a fic where one of the transformers have to deal with the weirdness of being human. I daresay it's been explored in the series, actually, but I don't remember.

So yes, someone find me, or write me Bumblebee/Sam. Okay? Yes yes? Pleeeease? I'd do it myself but I think my characters will burst out of the walls and hit me lots if I take on another fandom right now.

What else? Well, I had a great Christmas with my family. I finally got a camera, for my birthday. SOOOO HAPPIEEEE! I also got Final Fantasy 12 from my brothers, so I've been wasting many hours on that ever since. The play I wrote for church went reasonably well, there were a few technical errors in the second performance and one of the main characters didn't really deliver their lines with proper panache, but it got plenty of laughs, so I was reasonably happy.

Um... yeah? don't really have much else to report. I've been resting and recovering from life the last couple of days, tomorrow onwards things will be open again so I can go sort out my enrolment and money issues at the bank and such things. Uni starts on the 7th, for me, so I'm excited/nervous about that. Trying to write, trying NOT to write the Supernatural fic that's growing in my head... yeah, that's about it. Hope everyone had good holidays etc.
