And then there was some stuff, and some more stuff, then some stuff again
Hi hi all.

Sorry that I've been a little on the away side lately, exams followed by people visiting followed be me getting SICK ;_; has led to me not having much time for the internet. All ignored people, please feel un-ignored, I have read all comments and wish to share my love with you all. *hands out flowers*

I start class again on Monday though I'm still waiting on my results to find out if I passed Japanese. :/ Also, in this wonderful, never-ending stream of insanity that attempts to prevent me from ever having time for anything, I have been asked by my family to move out of my Nanna's place by the end of the month. *le sigh* SO, as such, I have been spending most of my time over the last few days trying to find flats, coz with work and class, I'm really not going to have a massive amount of spare time for that sort of thing soon.

As mentioned above, I am sick. (AGAIN!) Not massively awfully so, but bad enough that today consisted of about 2 hours spent out of bed total. Actually, I really should go get myself something to eat now, but I can't really be bothered. I'm in that awful, gross state you get when sick where you're really bored and want to do something but all suggestions meet with strong disapproval. From my bed-ridden state I have watched masses of anime, movies and dramas, which have mostly just served to give me a nasty crick in the neck. (mimei, I finished hana yori dango, OMG LOVE LOVE 4EVAR! BEST ending prize!! I've also watched everything else except for eternal summer and the last few episodes of 1 litre of tears. Those movies were a bit wtf, but loveless was really neat (if frustrating)). Also read enough that my book is boring me to death, and I have both a neck-crick AND sore eyes from peering at the screen from my bed while trying to read manga.

Anyway, enough of my complaining, I'm going to trrrrrry and do some writing and study, but my brain is pretty fogged-up at this point, and tomorrow I've off checking out flats for most of the day. More news and rants about fun-holiday-madness to come! (hopefully)

Love love!

*snugs*!

(That icon totally wins best-worst-pun for like, the month.)

I was so pleased with HYD's ending. Towards the start of the series, I thought it would be one of those frustrating japanese shows that finish without anything actually resolving and Whatzername still not having picked between Rui and Domyoji. The end is still making me a yay-full. (Even if that contest was really bizarre in a live-action setting, because I kept trying to apply real-life rules to the setting, and I was all wtf and had to keep reminding myself it was based on a manga before things would make sense.) The films were so weird, I would have liked formula 17 more if it wasn't so camp, camp-ness irritates me sooooooooo much. But I liked the main guy. (though, man, what's with the title!? It has NOTHING to do with anything!) Go go G-boys seemed like it would work better as a series, I spent like, the first half-hour just trying to be able to recognise people, and then everyone was having sex and it was mostly over. I liked the main love-story tho. Was the best friend the same actor as the guy from the King And The Clown? I wasn't sure but he seemed similar.

Eternal Summer has to wait till I've cleared some space on my computer coz the subs are in Japanese. ^_^ You gave be two subs files so I'm asssuuuming the other file is the english version but I can't change the filename while they're on the dvd, so it will wait.

I am currently downloading the Loveless manga. I should buy it, since it's licenced, but I thought I would check it out first. >_>

*is reminded of Gravitation* Oh! Something else to do! Yay! *tries to remember which box the CDs are in*

Thankyoou. I am trying to rest heaps today so that I may be better fast-fast! I did eat. Though, I made this wacky milo which despite me adding like, three teaspoons of milo was tasteless and pale. I hope I wasn't hallucinating adding the milo, because, well, what a LAME hallucination!

I have not forgotten the ficcage. (I totally have been watching Ballons every now and then to cheer myself up!) Still pondering characters. *snuggles her Jaejoong and Changmin* yey.

(Woah, I think I am more conversation deprived than I thought. This comment is fairly massive. 0_0)

(hahaha 8D and i didn't even make it!)

one of those..? japanese dramas are just like western ones in that that do give you resolution. i thought the end (the very end) was sad ;.; but yeah i guess it worked. yeah i agree the campness is irritating. (ahaha i have no idea i can barely remember the film as it is) i think Go Go G-Boys is the worst one it was just so all-over-the-place and pointless. no...they're chinese films. one actor is in two of them though.

you don't need to change the filename, just load the subtitles manually. in any case the subs aren't in japanese, from memory the video is hardsubbed in chinese and the english softsubs appear over that. the "copy of" is just a copy i made of the original srt as a backup when i was editing the other one in case things went wrong. so the "Eternal Summer.srt" file are the subs i've tweaked (although not much really, but i put the proper names in and stuff).

something else to do? not much time left before uni :(

oh that's good :) weird '__' ninja milo........

ah~ i hope you do write some....everything on my fic filter's been quiet as hell lately...apart from drama....it's saaad sad sad....

on the topic of jaemin, which i would love to convince you out of but sort of just can't be stuff extending the energy especially when all the evidence ever is at [livejournal.com profile] jaeho_yongwonhi (oh god they're comparing yunjae to loveless...and wtf jaejoong said he read it? most of the multimedia entries are locked but you can probably get an idea without joining)....and perhaps the fact that yunjae is like the most popular dongbang pairing in international fandom by like, a lot? remember that random wiki i posted not too soon before i left? a quote from the japanese wiki page for thsk? it said yoosu was the number one pairing (well, duh! although it's #2 in international fandom, after jaeho) & yunjae was second. idk. jaemin. they'd have to fight all the time. oh. there's also a website. and the comm for ficcage is [livejournal.com profile] jaeho_detox because the pairing is just that big :P

of course the jaemin equiv is [livejournal.com profile] _starcandy...

I guess it must just be anime and manga then, there are so many suck endings that I cannot even begin to express my flailage.

Oh, okay. I'll try that. (no idea how, but I'll work it out)

Something else to do while I lie around sick, bored to tears in bed. :/ At this point I'm just hoping I'm going to be well enough to get to class tomorrow. It would suck fairly majorly if I couldn't.

*ignores your futile pleas* The jaemin has BEGUN, my friend! BEGUN! Ph34r meeeeeeee! (It's still VERY drafty in my brain, but I'm 500 slightly-delerious-with-flu words in, if you want a preview.)

and finally, *SNUGGLE HUGS FOR YOOOOU!*

yeah anime and manga are pretty majorly suck with endings sometimes...'specially when they don't bother finishing anything like Loveless.

aw, cmon, it can't be hard to figure out. in VLC it's in preferences under something obvious like subtitles. anyway, they really should come on automatically, i swear they aren't japanese.

ugh. i have another friend who's a major jaemin shipper & everything she writes these days is jaemin & i have to read it anyway b/c she's so good :( but i'll give it a shot if you ping it over! not like i've got anything else to read.

first day back...maybe you should go to bed early? it's better not to miss it.... sometimes when you're sick just forcing yourself up is worth it *shrugs* my last year of high school i went every day, whether i was sick or not. & with uni well, you're paying a shitload for it, it sure doesn't pay to miss lectures....just bundle yourself up and get out there (or, like, at least see the doctor *cuddles*)
