Yes, that's right, I'm back in the land of the internet-ified.
One thing I have found, is when you've been offline for several weeks, (and one of those without a computer at all) you get such a huge back-log of things to do and say, that when you actually try and do or say any of those things, you are faced with a near-impossible task.
So um, the update of me: I've got internet, I'm enrolled, I started Uni on Monday, my computer is mostly functioning and all is weird but well. I got a job at the Christchurch branch of Little India, they are short-staffed and working me too hard. I like the money, I don't like that including Uni work-load and the job I'm working almost a 60-hour week - going from previously working a 20-hour week max-. I have no idea how I'm going to fit writing in, (but don't panic anyone, I'll fit it in if I have to write it one line at a time between classes) and the schedule certainly doesn't include much time for reading at the moment. Gah!
Uni is good with a rising inflection. Japanese is FUN but very intense, I have a friend who is doing Jap with me and we suddenly figured out last night that the Hiragana they're teaching us each day, they're expecting us to memorise, not just practice. EEEEK! We've been doing flash-cards with each other between classes all day.
Had my first semi-proper psyc lecture today, it was okay, really boring though - and difficult to pay attention to.
Japanese culture hasn't properly begun yet.
Books & rent still need to be bought/paid. Studylink is still arseing around and isn't giving me my allowance yet, (well, to be fair, they had my stuff all processed way before the Uni did, and it's only because the Uni took so damn long that studylink isn't sorted yet).
There are heaps of other things I could talk about, but I've got to get ready for work and stuff so I better be off. Hope life is treating y'all well.
Totally random edit: Hahah! I've actually been away for so long that my friends page doesn't go back that far. Oh dear, hope noting too important happened. *squeaks and guiltily runs off to bed*
