What is it about writing assignments that makes you feel like writing millions of inane journal entries all about how you wrote 3 more words?

16/10/06 - 11:06: Fuck I'm tired, and so, so very close to the finish line! Commas confuse me. My ablility to type has just turned into this weird mush and I need the spell-check for almost every second word at the moment. I have half a page (the assignment is 6 pages long) to go before I've finished the (very) rough draft. I think i'll easilly get that done tomorrow, then I have the rest of the week and all of Sat, Sun and Mon to finish answering the questions I couldn't be assed with, tidying the whole thing up, and making huge chucks of nonsensical muddling legible. I think I'll make it, but it will be pretty tight.

Fuck I can't wait till this is over. I miss my Harry and Draco, it's time to get on to the next freakking section of the story.

17/10/06 - 11:23pm: HAHAHA! I've got my rough-draft SORTED! *claps and giggles* I still have an almighty shitload of editing to do, so we aren't out of the woods, but I am so close, so fucking awesomely close!!!!

I've also (in my breaks, because relaxing, for me, often equals working on writing) updated all my plot-trip-ups for BtS so I'm happy about posting chapter 6 soon, which, in my opinion, is fucking HOT. I had to re-read all the chapters, and it's really amazing seeing how much I've improved even since chapter one, hopefully by the end I'll be like, MASTER WRITER OF DOOOOOOM!!!

Anyway, working lunch tomorrow and sorting out some of my forms for Uni. Hopefully get some editing done of Final Doom Assignment as well.

22/10/06 - 7:00pm: Oh man, I am so damn tired. I can't even sleep properly at the moment I'm so tired and stressed.

I posted Chapter 6 of BtS today just to blow off some steam. Still tired, still stressed.

Anyway, what I meant to say was: Finished re-writes of assignment, only got some light editing and a write up on the species' details and then I'm DONE! Hoping to get it finished early tomorrow and posted so that I can go away for 36 hours with Mum and Dad to the lake house some friends let us borrow. Maybe do some sailing if it doesn't rain. Then spend the rest of the week running around laughing like a mad idiot through sheer relief that it's OVER! Yeah, we'll see how much I can do between now and midnight.

23/10/06 - 1:07am: Okay so, yay for friends waking me up. I'm now attempting to finish this tonight so that I can go back to being relatively sane by tomorrow. Energy is flagging though, we'll see how I do.

1:41am: Oh man, I really feel rather like death warmed-up. But hey, guess what? I'm finished. finished finished finished finished finished finished finished finished finished finished finished finished finished.

There's still a bit of editing I'd like to do in the morning (mostly perfectionism-stuff) but essentially the fucking thing is done and I can quietly die in peace now. And if anyone feels like asking, yeah, I've passed, I've _definately_ passed, I have a fucking serious over-abundance of information and there is NO WAY I haven't passed. 5,922 words later, I've passed.
