It is useful to have something to do.

So, after finishing reading about this history and proper usage of the apostrophe (not one of my grammatical nemeses, to be honest), I wrote a poem. This one might even be classified as a real 'poem' not a 'non-poem', so here:



To all my friends, family... and Africa.



I would have your forgiveness, Love
For all my selfishness –

it so defines my every breath.

Forgiveness, Love!
they say love is selfless
but if I could only give you
my time, my tenderness, my passion-

I save them for myself, (hoarding like an aged woman with balls of wool)
In those bitter moments-
I cry for myself with all the depth of my emotional capability

But not for you, Love.
Such a waste of tears,
I could cry you a river
But what good would that do you? (do me? do me?)

I would have your forgiveness, Love,
But perhaps,

Be selfish.

Life here continues as-per usual. Although I am half-heartedly looking for a new job coz the clothing store is sending me insane and really, is counter to quite a few of the values that are important to me, and if I don't stand by those values then I can't call them values, just ideals. mleh.

Stuff is slowly being written, I'm hoping to put the first chapter of my Harry/Voldemort fic up soon... somewhere, even though I promised myself I wouldn't because I don't have the time to work on it properly. :/ I also want to write the next chapter of the 'supposed' one-shot of JxInoran that I wrote a while ago, mostly because Sugizo really intrigues me. ^_^;; I should probably spend like, all tomorrow on it, like I spent ALLLLL today on my playstation.

Oh, did I forget to say I BOUGHT A PS2!?!?!?!? *SOOOOOOOO HAPPY* I never really doubted that I was going to buy one of these, so it wasn't something I was spazzing over wanting (most of the time) but I have always wanted one and now I HAVE ONE! IT IS MINE! ALLLLLL MINE!

Yeah so, I've been playing video games too much lately instead of studying/writing/doing anything at all really, yeah, I suck, blah blah. I'll do stuff tomorrow.

I was going to be a super-achiever today, but we had a STORM! a storm of MEGA WINDS! And this was made even worse by the fact that in my bedroom my windows aren't tight to their surrounds so they were slamming and crashing and generally making a racket. After about 20 mins of trying to work on the computer I came downstairs wailing "The storm is scaring meeee!" and refused to go up again till it was over. ^_^;; So no-work for me.

anyway, hopefully tomorrow will be full of productivefull-ness. yay. Laterz!
