silly, bored Page
*snerks* This is a silly entry coz it's my journal and I can be silly whenever I like *makes a stupid face*

I did the first 1,000wrds for chapter 6 today. Yays. Do any of you authory ppl know the feeling when you create a story out of one inspired moment/feeling/situation? Well, I've got to my inspiration point for this story, so that's vuury cool/nerve wracking. I hope I can live up to the image in my head with the words on the page. I've also got to the point where I reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally have to pay attention because things that happened in early chapters now have to worked in otherwise they will never make any sense, so, pray that I wont completely screw this up! heheh, I am haivng fun though.

Weekend of Doom is coming up:

Work Friday night, work Saturday day, work Sat night, Sun off, work Mon day and prolly Mon night. ;_; (("Dear God, make me a bird, so I can fly far, far away from here.")) Nah, it shouldn't be too bad, hopefully we won't have INSANE amounts of customers so I won't have to take orders yet. Just gotta remember to get lots of sleep beforehand.

yus. I'm tired, I think I might go to bed. *wanders off*

Current Mood: tired

Oh yeah. I know its really weird to ask, but could you, if possible, take a picture of current New Zealand money? (coins, bills, notes, whatever you call it ><)

I have found pictures of individual bills/notes, but I
d like a picture of a group for my slideshow thing. Sorry if this bothers you, and its okay if you can't do it. I'll keep looking in the meantime.

;_; I tried, KRM! Honnest, I tried! I just can't make it woooooooooork! (coz the light has to be right, and the backround has to be plain, and the flash REFELCTS of the stupid money! And I don't have an entire set of bills around so it doesn't work anyway! (waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!)

Sorry. ;_;

Random note: As off this year, our currency is changing slightly. On July 31st our 5-cent pieces are being taken out of circulation, as well as our 10's changing to a bronze colour and all 10s 20s and 50s being made smaller and slighter, effective November 1st. Woooowowowowoooo! (I'm actually kinda annoyed about it coz now I'll lose it all easier, and I'll miss the Tuatara (a native NZ lizard that is depicted on the 5-cent piece)).

Second random note: I don't want to give you more work than you need, and I don't know if this kind of info is required for your thingy, but if you feel like it, you might want to make some comment on the native environment of NZ being special.

to explain: New Zealand, being an island, (especially before the settlers came, and even more before the Maori came) had it's own little eco-system. I think scientists decided that just due to how the islands broke off the other land masses they were part of like, millions of years ago, after the dinosaurs died off, there were no mamalian predators on these islands. NZ became home to some of the most unique bird and reptilian life in the world, as without predators like cats, rats and weasels/stoats/ferrets, egg-laying species found life easier. This is why their are such interesting flightless birds like the Kiwi and the Kakapo, and ancient lizards like the Tuatara here. Also, before they were hunted out of exsistance, we had the biggest flightless bird in the world: The Moa, plus the worlds largest eagle, the Hasst's Eagle.

<_< ... sorry, I know I'm ranting, but I did just do like, a year's worth of study on these kinds of things....

Thanks, I did find a page on wikipedia that showed the coins/bills individually. But thanks for trying.

I think I may make a page on NZ's environment to completely replace the climate one because that sounds better to me (or something)
