Tired, antisocial Page
Hey all. I'm really tired and antisocial at the moment, but since it's been ages since I've updated, I thought I would ... um ... update...

Chapter three will be arriving at some point in the next week or so.

I got another job, working evenings in an indian restaurant downtown. No set hours yet. Had my first day Monday night; wasn't too bad.

I got overly annoyed with slackyness so called my lecturer to find out what the fuck has been going on with my course and why they haven't sent me any documentation to confirm my enrolment. They said they hadn't received it, so it obviously got lost somewhere in the process. Luckilly for me, they haven't assessed anything yet in the subjects I'm doing, so they can still enrol me. yay! Hopefully be sorting that shit out soon and starting on my assignments double-soon.

Thinking about putting my vamp!Voldemort/Harry fic on Restricted Section in all its unbeta'd glory. Trying to learn some more stuff about grammar, but seriously, how easy is it to sit down and just read a book on grammar????

Read a good book the other day (Anita Blake 10, Narcisuss in Chains) for the second or third time. Love that book. Although, I find it amazing that the author manages to regress her characters in the following books. You end that one, thinking, 'okay, hey, it seems that Anita is finally getting her life in order here,' and then in the next books, Anita is back to spazzing all over the place! Over some of the same issues she appeared to make peace with in book 10!!! I hate it sooooooooooooooo much when authors do that, because I just feel that they are manipulating the characters, and me, to get more books/movies/episodes sold. Which is totally not cool. You gotta respect the reader man, you just gotta.

Yeah, so, stuff is going on in my quiet corner over here. Yay for me.

It gives me a few guidelines/directions to follow (like "Create at least 8 slides" "include atleast 6 pictures, including a map, and one chart") things like that. I have 9 slides (not including title) right now.

^.^ I'll try and see if there's a way I can send it to you when you're done.

Heh, since you actually like in NZ, I'm just going to mooch info off of you. (Since some websites I found won't say it outright)

What kind of government does NZ have? (Like US: Democracy, headed by the President, with a Supreme Court, blah blah de blah)

And its a taboo to associate New Zealand/Kiwis with Austrailia, right?

heheh, fair enough (you have the 'inside info')

ahhh, I'm not quite sure what the name of it is, have you been to this website: http://www.govt.nz/aboutnz/ ? It's run by the NZ govt so is probably pretty informative. But we're kinda like Britain (with a prime minister, not a president) except there are some weird differences. ;;>_> (go to the website, I know nooooothingk!)

Yes, it is EXTREMELY taboo to associate NZers with the Auzzies. New Zealand has a bit of a case of 'small man' syndrome, where we are one of the smallest 'western' countries in the world, but we want to be taken seriously all the same. A lot of overseas people will say things like, "Oh, new Zealand? That's like, that little island that's part of Australia, right?" or similar things that make it sound like the only reason NZ is relevant is because of the Auzzies. This pisses us off.

Also, NZ and Oz are almost always near to equal in many of our favourite sports, so they are our rivals in those issues too. The finals of Rugby, Cricket and Netball almost always have a standoff between us and the Australian teams, so we all sit next to each other and snarl across the divide.

However, one thing that is good to know about all that, is that even though in terms of business and progress and sport we are rivals in many ways, Australia and NZ are also very close allies in many other ways. In wars and stuff, (especially WW2), we tend to team up very closely. In WW2 there were the 'ANZACs' the Australian and New Zealand Armoured Core, which fought and died together. So for all our enmity, there is a close bond there too.

... and that ends our history lesson for the day... :D

Yay! History Lesson! And thanks ^^

But you know what? Just after I asked you that, I found a site that finally gave it to me straight. I think your government is called a constitutional monarchy. (or so says wikipedia.com) Bu tI'll check that one out ^________^
_______
In other news, your baby, Sneeze: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/31979958/ (It's the only one of him I have online at the moment, taken when he was about one to two weeks old. I do have more that I took last night.

You should have seen them! The mother cat, Shika, was laying in the clean litterbox to take a break from nursing all of them, and all seven followed her in there. But some moved before I could get a picture.)

that's good about the course :] and the job.

eh i hate when authors do that too...total lack of a ability to sustain a character or plot over a long period of time (which, granted, is hard).

grammar's not that bad, seriously... it's not rocket science and it's not actually boring - if you love the read and write you'll enjoy learning it..

anyway hope things are going fine...

yeah, good in a, "Crap, now I actually have to get off my ass," kind of way. :D

I knoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow! *grrs* I agree that plots are almost impossible to carry on indefinately, especially if you are focusing on one main character and not like, seven or so (like friends or something.) But still, if you cant keep it going, then STOP!!!!! *hits all the silly-people, including self*

-_-;; I hope so.

Yeah, fine enough. Likewise. *hugs*
