Gah, damn it, I keep finding random comments that I forgot to reply to from months ago, and I feel bad for replying so late, because that's just rude, but then I feel bad for just randomly ignoring one person amongst all the other replies, so sorry if this is an annoyance-inducing reply!

After consultation with many, many people it's been decided that he calls him 'mon petit lupe' (I may have the spelling there wrong, I need to go check again what the French corrector said) or at least that's what people seem to think, so I'm going with that. :D

Asher is a big part of things, yes, in fact, I would say he's a bigger part of the storyline as of incubus dreams than in the later books, because there's still room for the character's relationships with others to be developed. LKH, strange writer that she is, seems to have decided that his entire role in the books is to occasionally appear, complain about people not loving him enough at reeeeally inopportune times (like when someone is about to kill them all) then either have some sex, or storm off in a huff. I plan on letting him have a liiiiittle bit more depth than that. ;D
