There is something and nothing wrong with me

I am home sick today. I can't figure out what's wrong though. I feel fine until I try to do anything, and then I get a headache and feverish and extremely tired.

Anyway, point being that I have retired to bed with my laptop and hope to get some writing done today. My cat is being very cuddly because I've been too sick to go out and buy her food so she's hanging around in the hope I will give her something that doesn't taste like crap. (She has the other cat's food at the moment, my flatmate buys the cheapest food available for him, my cat refuses to eat it...) So, I have a kitty and about 5 things I should be working on. woot.

Anyway, this is a complete nothing-entry, I was just bored. Meh.

Diagnosis: First infection of herpes HSV I, asymptomatic for sores

*totally guessing, almost 99% sure to be wrong*

Hah, I think that's probably very unlikely, as I have no physical contact with anyone apart from my best friends, but I'll keep it in mind. Yesterday I had a really sore neck and had had a migraine on Monday so I was still nauseous and light-sensitive, so my Mum and I decided I had Meningitis, but so far I have not died, so I'm thinking it's all good.

Self-diagnosis is so much fun!

I like that you are sensible to the reason your cat is hanging around - no illusions there!

Remember if you get any spots remember the trick with the glass - to test for meningitis so you can see if the spots change colour. I can't remember which way is bad, but I'm sure it will add to your self diagnostic fun finding out. I hope it just a brief bug and you are feeling better soon!

Oh yes, I am wise to all her tricks. We're very good at manipulating each other. I train my cats not to meow when they're hungry, so instead of that she comes and sits on my desk right next to my face and just stares at me. Sometimes for hours. It's very creepy and extremely effective.

I have yet to develop a rash, but since I'm still sick today I am giving up on the self-diagnosis and going to the doctor. No rash yet but if I see one I'll be making sure the internet tells me if they're supposed to change colour or not!
