yeah, it's that whole True Life thingie issue. They are truly evil, but OH MY GOSH it is so worth it. My computer is soooo lovely. It has really nice media interaction buttons too, which always used to fuck out on my previous computers, but work so well on this. ^_^ (just my latest cool-discovery). The widescreen is very weird. Fucks up a lot of stuff. Would prefer not to have it, really but, *shrugs*. Random note - do you have external speakers? Because if you don't, you'll need them, the sound is reeeeally tinny. Even my cheap $30 external speakers are significantly better.

The processing issue is weird for me, partly because I've had such a massive increase in RAM that it's hard to tell where the speed is coming from, also my previous computer did have 2.0Gz, but it was a SHITE processor which didn't really work despite that speed. All I know know now is that I can do SOOOOO much all at the same time. Can you say, downloading like three things, taking stuff off disks, firefox, Word and Music all at the same time with only minor speed slows? Fuck yeah. Just such a difference for me. I haven't really been able to push her to full-power yet. @_@ So used to curtailing my activities. Oh, and she's REALLY quiet.Not that I want to encourage your poor-ness or anything, but you should at least know the truth? >_>;;
